Students beginning in 1^st grade through 8^th grade participate in choir twice a week.  They learn proper vocal techniques as well as learning a wide variety of music.  The HCS Choir may perform a fall mini-musical, Christmas program and a Spring Musical in which attendance is required unless prior arrangements have been made with the music teacher and administrator.  Choir is one of several class options for 7^th & 8^th grade students. 

Students in 5^th through 8^th grades may also audition for selection to an HCS vocal group, Select Ensemble.
